Bob Hansson

Great emotions daring to be both sad and funny

 

Bob Hansson is one of Sweden’s most will-headed authors who writes both novels and poetry. He was born on a ferry going to Helsingborg, landed ashore in a washing basket and grew up with solid ground under his feet. He debuted 1998 with the poetry collection Hello world! and has made himself a name as one of the country’s most love slam poets.

 

He doesn’t hesitate to span over large topics like love, longing, loneliness, lust and happiness. He writes on an impulse and manages to describe the largest feelings with ordinary words and down to earth realism.

 

Bob Hansson’s fiction is slow, contemplating and emotional. And at the same time full of abrupt turns and warm humor. He is regularly praised for his energy and his linguistic ingenuity.

   

Bob Hanssons alters his authorship with poetry and music gigs. He is also a regular guest in both TV and radio in Sweden as well as Norway.
