What is really going on in the world of the Stockholm financial market? First Tord Svensson, recently fired CEO from a listed company, is found shot during a hunting shift, with his pants down.

 

Very soon, everybody in the small pond of the Stockholm finance market panic. The killer wants to put out more lights and everything indicates that he knows his victims very well. Micke Norell, reporter on the “The Finance World”, is assigned to write about the finance killings. Shortly he realizes that the victims have more in common than their taste for fast business and expensive clothes: they are all somehow connected to the listed company Kämpinge.

 

Micke Norell writes on his story at the same time as he is trying to make his own life puzzle work out. His wife Sara is making her own career and little Simon is at day care. And things are taking an unpleasant turn in the case.

Suddenly he is the one everybody wants to get at. The police as well as the killer.
