A well placed blow to the neck with the Salomon ski and venture capitalist Kjell Engman’s life is over. The next day already, the murderer can mix with financial hot-shots on Easter vacation in the ski resort. Quiet sure never to have to share the secret with anyone but the Åre slopes.

 

But it is not quite that easy. In the skiing paradice is Micke Norell, as curious as ever and also very shortly on his way to change his reporter job on ”The Finance World” to a much more lucrative existence as a consultant for “Nordic Funds”, which happens to be the same company the murdered Engman worked for. When another killing takes place, Norell is hard to stop. Because now, the killer works in his own circle of friends and the pattern gets less and less understandable:
