Journalist Markus Lutteman has a driven style which captures the reader from the first page. The lives he portrays are of those who for some reason have lost everything, been deprived of the basics for a decent life, but who have still gotten back on their feet and done something out of the ordinary.

 

Markus Lutteman throws light on problems and conditions with clarity and conviction. He weaves facts around his subjects in a direct and easy way, at the same time as he manages to make the characters, events and environments lively in a realistic way. He mixes world politics, social political aspects and personal tragedy without ever making it feel spectacular.

 

Marcus Lutteman’s work is thorough and his genuine engagement is clear. Yet he writes with an easy touch very close to fiction

Being a journalist Markus Lutteman has a style with great experience. He catches the reader from the first page and deals with facts in a serious way but with en easy touch. His first book El Choco is a mixture of world politics and personal tragedy. Yet it is never spectacular.
