Martin Svensson

Entertainment with a serious touch

 

Martin Svensson started his carrier as a pop singer and, between 1997 and 2002, he released four albums. His breakthrough came during the 1999 Swedish finals for Eurovision Song Contest. After that, he was a member of the rock group Nina Rochelle and also wrote songs for other singers. He’d been writing music lyrics for a number of years when he felt he needed to develop his writing to another level, since the limited scope of song lyrics began to feel claustrophobic.

 

Martin Svensson believes that the language and emotion is very important in any text. Hi! My name was Elton Persson became his debut novel and was well-received by the Swedish media world.
