Nicolas Jacquemot
Relationships and communication are specialties
Nicolas Jacquemot is a relationship expert with a broad academic background. After he received his Master’s degree in ethnology, he worked as a free-lance journalist, at an anorexia clinic and as a French teacher. Besides being an author, he runs his own PR-firm, Gold, and 2008 he was appointed one of Sweden’s best and most powerful pr-consultants by the branch magazine Resumé.
Nicolas Jacquemot is interested in how we human beings get along with each other and explors the depths of the subject writing books on the matter. Handbook in the Art of Being Social was Nicolas Jacquemot’s third book and also his breakthrough to a larger audience. Through his books, Nicolas has become a regularly requested relationship expert in the Swedish media. In 2009 Jacquemot released What Optimists Know – and You Can Learn, the first book in the field written by a Swedish author. In 2011 he will release How to socialize with anyone.
When Nicolas Jacquemot discovered that there weren’t enough books to answer curious children’s questions, he began to write non-fiction books for them as well. He takes up the subjects in a direct manner mixed with a touch of humor. He believes children’s non fiction books shouldn’t be difficult just because the subject matter is.
